Meet me in Par-eeeee :)

So when you read this, we will be having a big old fantastic reunion in PARIS!!  It will be bittersweet in light of yesterdays news.  How we wish we could be in Mississippi with our family there, but we are so thankful that 2 years ago we were not getting similiar news. You may remember the story of our neice/cousin, Ashley, who battled Aplastic Anemia. She missed her 9th grade year of school, was at St Jude's Hospital for 6 months and put up a crazy brave fight for her life at the ripe old age of 13/14. Well, we are THRILLED to report that Ashley is well on her way to good health and in fact, is excelling in her sophomore year and will soon be celebrating her sweet 16th birthday!

The coolest news is that she was awarded her dream trip to Paris from the Make-a-Wish Foundation and will spend 5 nights in the City of Lights with her mom and brothers!! And since Paris is just a 1.5 hour train ride away, we'll be getting to spend a lot of time with them while they're there!! We have been counting down the days and it's finally arrived!

Here's a shot of the 5 of them just 6 weeks ago on Christmas Eve.
And while I'm at it, I'd love to share some of the whole fam at Christmas. The WHOLE fam together for the first time since last Christmas. We so good to laugh, play games, hang out and catch up with this crew.
The whole gang in Zachary, Louisiana. Moss in oak trees, check :)
The English crew:
The Claytons

The Guerins
The only Miss Wheatley left :)
I think you know this crew..

and where it all began :)
Mamma and T-Tom
3 Wheatley generations of men

So I hope the next post will be of our fantastic adventures in Paris. It's been a long time coming!
Thanks for looking and happy travels near and far :)
